Our members Gigi and John have generously offered to ship goods to the Philippines as relief for those suffering in the aftermath of the huge storm that devastated parts of the islands.  You can drop the items off at their house, 501 Stelle Ave. or contact Gigi if you have any questions – (917) 669-0193.
The damage has been tremendous and the need is great so please be generous.

Larry

Hi Larry,

Was wondering if you can send this out to our VWB neighbors please.

We as a family have been praying for all those who were effected and who were devastated by the earthquake and super typhoon. I can’t help but weep watching the live coverage of Tacloban City, people begging for food and clean water, much more heartbreaking to see newborns and young kids in suffering.

One of our friends told us that the Cargo company we use regularly to send stuff back home to our family are now accepting boxes for donation (can goods, gently used clothing for both adults and kids and toiletries) with free shipping Direct to the Red Cross in the Philippines.

The drop off deadline is Nov 30th so anything that you or anyone else are willing to add will be a tremendous help!

They can drop them off at my house, 501 Stelle Ave. and leave them on the porch.

Thanks, Gigi
