In Memory of Rosemary Pittis

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend and neighbor Rosemary Pittis, this past weekend. She had been in hospice for several months and had suffered from Alzheimer’s.  Rosemary and her husband, Albert, have lived in Netherwood Heights for many years. They were long-time members of Grace Episcolpal Church in Plainfield. Rev. Dr. Joyce Scheyer had visited Rosemary, a few hours before her death, in order to give her last rites.  The Pittis family were property owners in downtown Plainfield and are pillars of the community. They are beloved members of our neighborhood. Our condolences and deepest sympathy go out to Albert and his family.

The visitation will be at the Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood on Wednesday, August 28 from 4 PM to 7 PM.  The funeral service will Thursday, August 29, 11 AM at Grace Episcopal Church. Rev. Dr. Joyce Scheyer will be officiating at the funeral service. There will be a reception afterwards at the Stagehouse Inn in Scotch Plains, to which everyone is invited. The family would appreciate it if they could get a head count, so if you think you might be likely to come, RSVP to carolyn.pittis@yahoo.com.

Sincerely,

Netherwood Heights Neighbors Association
