Happy Holidays Netherwoodians!
It has always been a neighborhood effort for us to assemble, distribute, and light the luminaries on Christmas Eve. We are sorry to announce that we have made the decision to cancel the luminaries for this year. The weather is not looking good to get this work done on Saturday morning and we don’t want to take chances with anyone’s safety. It was not an easy decision, but ultimately one that had to be made.
We want to thank everyone for the generous donations to the luminary fund! Thank you so very much. We know how much the luminaries mean to the neighborhood and it shows with your generous contributions. We will hold onto this money for next year. The supplies that we have on hand will be stored for next year as well, and if you happen to have bags folded and ready to roll, please hang on to them until next year, that would be ideal.
