- Event: Art Auction fundraiser –The Cerebral Palsy League in partnership with the Occupational Center of Union County

- Time: 7PM for preview and hors’ d’oeuvres; 8 PM auction starts and runs to 10 PM
- Cost: $20 per person or $30 for two
- Location: CPL’s Jardine Academy auditorium, 61 Myrtle Street, Cranford, NJ
The Cerebral Palsy League (CPL) of Cranford will partner with the Occupational Center of Union County (OCUC) of Roselle to present a gala Art Auction on Friday April 19 at 7 P.M. This event will take place in the gymnasium of CPL’s Jardine Academy at 61 Myrtle Street in Cranford. This fundraiser benefits programs and services of CPL and OCUC. Both organizations help residents from a six county area of New Jersey with education, therapy, home services, advocacy, rehabilitation and training for individuals with disabilities.
The Art Auction also features a tricky tray basket auction, fine wine, a selection of light dinner items provided by local restaurants, entertainment, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Items in the silent auction include dinners for two at local restaurants, gift baskets, professional services, golf outings, complimentary admission to entertainment and sports events, vacation programs and kitchen items. The Art Auction is being provided by Marlin Fine Auctions and Creative Events of Long Island. Prior to the auction, Marlin accepts specific requests for art by specific artists or in particular styles or themes, e.g. Americana, Sports, Wildlife, religious, etc. (www.marlinart.com )
We seek support from local businesses and corporations to sponsor this event. Various levels of sponsorship are being offered and the sponsoring entity would receive complimentary tickets, prominent signage, advertisement in the program booklet, mention in publicity, and inclusion in the CPL and OCUC website. We also seek silent auction item donations particularly gift cards. Food and drink establishments in the area are being asked to offer a food and refreshments for our guests.
Admission to the Gala is $20 per person or $30 for two people. We recommend purchasing tickets by Tuesday, April 16 but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Payment can be made via credit card, cash or check. Wine, beverages, hors d’oeuvres and dessert provided. There is also a tricky tray auction and 50/50 raffle. Donations accepted if you are unable to attend but would like to support this event. CPL is a non –profit 501c3 organization and to the extent of the law, donations are tax deductible. We also seek sponsorships and auction item donations.
